Introducing... The Cave Sessions

My fellow depth-dwelling seekers of wonder,

It is with trembling joy that I announce to you the launch of a new series from Death of Classical... after the Crypt, Catacombs, and Cemetery, the only logical next step was to find ourselves a Cave - and St. George's Church near Union Square was more than happy to offer one up to satisfy our unquenchable lust for subterranean weirdness.

And so we are absolutely thrilled to introduce The Cave Sessions, which we will launch festival-style with six performances throughout the month of February, in partnership with the amazing folks at Concert Artists Guild. We'll present a swath of their extraordinary artists, from superstars such as Jennifer Koh or husband-and-wife team David Krakauer & Kathleen Tagg, to legends of tomorrow like violist Jordan Bak and pianist Wynona Wang, toy piano-playing Chromic Duo, harp-and-violin-rocking Vision Duo, and power trio Empire Wild.

And because we're us, there'll be a pre-concert gathering with food and cocktails and a Medieval-style long-table, so we can get to know each other before these world-class artists shiver our souls with their glorious music-making.

As with all of our shows, tickets are *VERY* limited and will sell out immediately (our donors get early access) so get 'em before they're gone!

See you underground,
Andrew
